A number of city-run parks provide many ways to enjoy the outdoors, from shaded walking trails at the Rum River Nature Area to outdoor waterslides at the Anoka Aquatic Center in George Green Park. Main Street is the town's shopping hub, filled with unique shops and cultural experiences like performances at the Lyric Arts Main Street Stage and the museum run by the Anoka County Historical Society.
